Securities and Exchange Commission issues new MC 28 online system

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will soon launch the MC 28 submission portal, a new online service created for the submission of requirements mandated by SEC Memorandum Circular no. 28 series 2020.
Mandatory submission to the online portal is slated for implementation on January 17, 2022.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) unveils the MC 28 Submission Portal, a new online service created for the online submission for the requirements mandated by SEC Memorandum Circular no. 28 series 2020.

SEC Memorandum Circular No.28 is requiring every entity under the jurisdiction and supervision of the SEC to submit valid official and alternate e-mail addresses along with the mobile number and alternate mobile number in the form prescribed by the issuance. The submission also requires an Authorization or Certification of Authorization signed by either an authorized representative or the Corporate Secretary.

The new online system will start implementation on January 17, 2022, where it will be mandatory to use the portal for the submission of compliance requirements in the filing of MC28.

This new online portal can be accessed through this link: https://apps010.sec.gov.ph/mc28-list-temp/submission.

Those who have submitted through electronic mail (MC28_S2020@sec.gov.ph) before January 17, 2022, need not worry as these submissions will still be processed unless directly notified by the SEC Monitoring Officer.
