BIR adds new BIR forms to their online filing and payment system

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) announces four new forms available in their online electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS).

New BIR forms have recently been made available at the Bureau’s online eFPS. Taxpayers now can file BIR form nos. 1604-C, 1604-E, 1604-F and 0620 at the BIR’s website HERE. These forms were successfully implemented thanks to the recent announcement from the Bureau’s Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) named 62-2023, which was issued on May 29, 2023.

The RMC then clarified how to file returns and pay for the taxes on each of the forms. The Bureau notes that taxpayers mandated to use the eFPS need to correctly file these four forms and pay for the corresponding taxes that are potentially due. Once completed, the forms must be submitted using the eFPS facility.

Annual Information Return of Creditable Income Taxes Withheld (Expanded)/ Income Payments Exempt from Withholding Tax

On or before March 1 of the year following the calendar year in which the income payments subject to expanded withholding tax were paid or accrued, whichever comes first.

1604-F

Annual Information Return of Income Payments Subjected to Final Withholding Taxes

On or before January 31 of the year following the calendar year in which the income payments subject to final withholding taxes were paid or accrued.

Monthly Remittance Form of Tax Withheld on the amount withdrawn from decedent’s deposit account

On or before the 10th day following the month when the withholding was made.
